Located in the historic fishing village of Steveston, in the southwest corner of Richmond, B.C., Dominique Jarry Sugar Art is an innovative business providing high quality products and services to a diverse clientele.
Established in 1993 by owner and operator, Dominique Jarry, the impeccable reputation of this internationally renown company is built on the consistent quality, excellence, and originality of Mr. Jarry's creations.
Trained in France, Mr. Jarry completed his apprenticeship with top honors in pastries, confections, and frozen desserts. Commited to perfecting his skills and techniques as well as to learning the regional specialties, he then embarked on a two year working tour of France, the successful completion of which, afforded him membership in "Les Compagnons du Devoir du Tour de France".

With over 30 years of experience as a pastry chef, Mr. Jarry combines his professional knowledge with his artistic talents to create completely edible "works of art". Mr Jarry has been the recipient of many awards including the Diplôme Grand Marnier, as well as numerous gold medals and Best of Show's in both national and international competitions. Over the course of his career, from cakes and chocolate to elaborate sugar sculptures, he has provided his creations for, among others, the Queen of England, President Chirac of France, the Princess of Thailand, the Consul General of France, General Bigeard of France, Paul-Émile Victor, and Jacques Brel. With at least ninety percent of his clients phoning, writing or visiting in person after each event to voice their appreciation of his chef d'oeuvres, the most frequent comment made is that he "exceeded their expectations".
